Type: UX Design Project
Role: UX Designer / UX Researcher
Responsibilities: User Research / Wireframing / Prototyping / Branding
The Problem
- Many non-English speakers struggle to access relevant information about the city.
- Many people are unsure about what’s happening within their community.
- Many people are unaware when their commutes are going to be disrupted.
Goal
This project aims to create a centralised information hub that provides relevant updates and is accessible to people who speak all languages.
Personas
Target Audience:
Since the prompt specified “everyone” defining a target audience became difficult. Based on the conversations that I had with those around me, I identified 4 individuals:
- Student studying in London.
- Traveller/remote worker visiting London.
- Young professional working in London.
- Non-English speaker from abroad working in London.

Concluding Remarks
During this project, I learned about developing tablet and medium sized devices.
My main challenge was ensuring the proportions are right as these screen sizes are awkward to design resembling both the form of a phone when portrait and a desktop when landscape.
